Mikk Mikiver (September 4, 1937 – January 9, 2006) was an esteemed Estonian actor and theater director, renowned for his contributions to stage and film. Born in Tallinn, Estonia, Mikiver completed his studies at the State Conservatory of Tallinn in 1961. He quickly established himself as a notable presence in Estonian cinema, delivering powerful performances that showcased his dramatic prowess.

Throughout his career, Mikiver made significant strides in television as well, becoming a well-loved figure across various platforms. While he maintained an active acting career, his focus gradually shifted towards theater direction, where he notably served as the principal director for both the Estonian Drama Theatre and the Estonian Youth Theater for several years.

Mikiver's talents extended beyond Estonian productions; he also featured in films from Russia, Sweden, Poland, and Finland, exhibiting his versatility as an actor. Mikk Mikiver passed away at the age of 68 on January 9, 2006. He was the elder brother of actor Tõnu Mikiver and was married to actress Carmen Mikiver from 1989 until his death, having previously been married to Ada Lundver between 1971 and 1983.
