Carlito Olivero

Carlos Emmanuel Olivero, popularly known as Carlito Olivero, was born on July 16, 1989. This talented American singer and actor, of Puerto Rican and Mexican heritage, began his career as a member of the iconic Latin boy band Menudo from 2007 to 2009, following his participation in MTV's reality series, Making Menudo.

Relocating to Los Angeles in 2009, Olivero immersed himself in the entertainment scene, showcasing his skills in both music and acting. His film debut came in 2012 with the movie We the Party, directed by Mario Van Peebles, which delves into the complexities of teenage life in an ethnically diverse Los Angeles high school.

In 2013, Carlito gained significant recognition by competing in season 3 of the American singing competition The X Factor, where he impressively secured third place under the mentorship of Paulina Rubio. Following his stint on the show, he continued to pursue acting, landing guest roles in popular series such as Rizzoli & Isles and Modern Family, where he portrayed Teddy Keys, a love interest of Alex.

From 2015 to 2017, Olivero starred in the acclaimed Hulu Original Series East Los High. In 2018, he took on the role of Derek Sandoval in the thriller film Bad Samaritan, directed by Dean Devlin. His upcoming projects include a role in the highly anticipated sequel to the psychological thriller Escape Room, slated for release in 2021.
