Jo Kendall

Jo Kendall, whose real name was Josephine Mary Robinson, was a prominent British actress and writer, born on February 17, 1940, in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire. She passed away on January 29, 2022. Kendall gained widespread recognition for her exceptional talent on the BBC radio comedy program "I'm Sorry, I'll Read That Again," which first aired in 1964 and showcased her comedic prowess.

In addition to her radio success, Kendall made a memorable impact on television as Peggy Skilbeck in the popular ITV soap opera "Emmerdale Farm," where she performed from 1972 to 1973.
