Jade Leung Tsang, originally named Leung Yuk-ying, hails from Hong Kong and has made a name for herself as an actress, particularly in the realms of Kung Fu and action films. Her performance in the 1991 movie Black Cat earned her the prestigious Best New Performer Award at the 11th Hong Kong Film Awards in 1992.

In 1995, during the production of Enemy Shadow, Leung experienced a significant setback when a delayed explosion resulted in burns to her hand. This unfortunate incident necessitated skin graft surgery and led to an extended recovery period in the hospital. As a result of this traumatic experience, she became more cautious regarding her involvement in similar stunt work.
