Todd Joseph "T.J." Miller, born on June 4, 1981, is a multifaceted American actor and stand-up comedian renowned for his unique comedic style. After completing his college education, Miller relocated to Chicago, where he honed his craft in improv and stand-up, eventually touring with the renowned comedy troupe The Second City for two years. In 2008, he earned recognition as one of Variety's "10 Comics To Watch."

Miller's television career took off with his role as Marmaduke Brooker in the ABC series Carpoolers (2007-2008). His film debut came later that year in the thriller Cloverfield, where he played a pivotal role as the character behind the camera. He continued to build his filmography with memorable roles in titles such as The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard (2009), and Mike Judge's Extract. His notable performances include Stainer in She's Out of My League (2010) and voicing Tuffnut Thorston in the How to Train Your Dragon trilogy (2010-2014).

Miller gained further prominence through his stand-up, appearing multiple times on Conan and releasing his Comedy Central special, No Real Reason, in 2011. His animated roles expanded with characters in Gravity Falls and The Gorburger Show.
