Rodney L. Demery is a distinguished retired homicide detective, television host, and author known for his exceptional contributions to law enforcement. With a remarkable 14-year tenure as a detective in the violent crimes unit of the Shreveport Police Department, Demery achieved an unparalleled 100% confession and solve rate as the lead investigator. His extensive career encompassed various criminal investigations, including sex crimes, armed robbery, burglary, and narcotics offenses.

In addition to his investigative skills, Demery is a certified hostage negotiator and a S.W.A.T. member, reflecting his proficiency in high-stakes situations. His 25 years in law enforcement also include extensive undercover experience and expertise in firearms, along with being a certified investigator of officer-involved shootings.
