Aisling Bea

Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan, widely recognized as Aisling Bea, is a talented Irish comedian, actress, and screenwriter. Born and raised in Ireland, she has captivated audiences with her unique humor and engaging performances. Bea began her career in comedy in 2011, following a string of minor roles in various Irish and British TV series since 2009. By 2012, she had gained traction in the comedy scene, frequently appearing on various sketch shows and sitcoms.

Her comedic prowess was further acknowledged when she won an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, which led to her becoming a sought-after guest on numerous panel shows. Notably, from 2016 to 2017, she served as a team captain on the popular show 8 Out of 10 Cats and has made multiple appearances on its spinoff, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.

In addition to her stand-up endeavors, Bea featured in the Sky One comedy series Trollied from 2011 to 2018, and starred alongside Amy Huberman in the Irish series Finding Joy in 2018. Currently, she appears in the Netflix comedy-drama Living with Yourself (2019–present) and serves as the star and head writer of the Channel 4 series This Way Up (2019–present). She also showcased her acting skills in the ITV drama series Quiz in 2020.
