Yasmin Al-Khudhairi is a talented English actress renowned for her portrayal of Fizza Akhtar in the acclaimed Channel 4 comedy-drama Ackley Bridge, where she appeared in the final two series from 2021 to 2022. Born in Kingston upon Thames, London, to Iraqi Arab Muslim parents, Al-Khudhairi graduated from the University of Manchester in 2016 with a Bachelor of Social Science in Social Anthropology. It was during her time at university that she formed a significant bond with director Rishi Pelham, collaborating on various fringe theatre productions.

Al-Khudhairi made her professional acting debut in 2019 when she was cast as Ayala in Pelham's independent dance film Hilda. This role opened the door to her first television appearance in a minor role on the BBC thriller Killing Eve in 2020. In 2021, she showcased her talent in the biographical television film Adam, where she starred alongside Adam Kashmiry, bringing the story to life for the National Theatre of Scotland and the BBC.

Her career continued to flourish with her main role in Ackley Bridge, which she reprised in its concluding series. In 2023, Al-Khudhairi expanded her repertoire by starring in the romantic comedy Rye Lane and taking on a recurring role as Princess Yadira in the third season of the Sky Max political thriller COBRA. She is also set to appear in the BBC Three adaptation of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, further solidifying her place in the entertainment industry.
