Vonetta McGee
Vonetta Lawrence McGee (January 14, 1945 – July 9, 2010) was a talented American actress whose career spanned several influential genres of film. She made her mark in cinema with her first appearance in the Spaghetti Western "The Great Silence," a film that showcased her strong screen presence. McGee became a prominent figure in the blaxploitation genre, featuring in notable films such as "Hammer," "Melinda," "Blacula," and "Shaft in Africa." Her collaboration with then-partner Max Julien in the 1974 film "Thomasine & Bushrod" further solidified her status as a leading actress of her time.
