Musa Uzunlar
**Musa Uzunlar: A Multifaceted Talent in Turkish Theatre and Television**
Hailing from Kemerhisar, Nigde, Musa Uzunlar is a distinguished figure in the Turkish performing arts scene. He completed his education at Mimar Sinan University’s State Conservatory Theatre Department in 1985, marking the beginning of an extensive career in theatre, where he has excelled as both an actor and director across various state theaters in Turkey, including those in Bursa, Ankara, and Istanbul.
Uzunlar has taken on significant administrative roles within the State Theatres and has contributed to the State Theatres Sports Club and the State Opera and Ballet Employees Foundation (TOBAV). His directorial prowess is evident in numerous productions across a wide array of locations, such as Diyarbakir and Trabzon. Additionally, he has lent his talents to private theatres, including Izmit City Theatre and Bakirkoy Municipality Theatres.
As a playwright, he has authored two notable works, "Hüzün Mahallesi Otobüsü" and "Turtle's Lullaby," with the former being published and performed by the State Theatres. Beyond his theatrical endeavors, Uzunlar is an educator, currently teaching at Halic University and Yeditepe University, and has previously instructed at Uludag University and Eskisehir Anadolu University.
In television and film, he gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Iskender Büyük in the popular series "Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu" and the film "Kurtlar Vadisi Gladio." His recent roles include Bahri Umman in "Poyraz Karayel" and appearances in the TRT 1 series "Subat." As President of TOBAV's Istanbul Branch, Uzunlar continues to impact the arts community.
