Caterina Murino, born on September 15, 1977, in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy, is a distinguished actress known for her captivating performances across multiple film industries. Her journey into the limelight began in 1996 when she achieved fourth place in the Miss Italy pageant. This success propelled her to Milan, where she launched her modeling career, featuring in commercials for renowned brands such as Mastercard, Swatch, Mercedes Benz, and Nescafé.
Determined to pursue acting, Murino honed her craft at the Scuola di Cinema e Teatro di Francesca de Sapio in Italy from 1999 to 2000.
