Andres Dvinjaninov

Andres Dvinjaninov, born on November 20, 1963, in Tartu, Estonia, is a multifaceted artist known for his contributions as an actor, singer, director, and theater director. He completed his secondary education at Tartu 7th Secondary School in 1981 and pursued studies in economics at Tartu State University from 1981 to 1984. Dvinjaninov later graduated from the Tallinn State Conservatory of Performing Arts in 1988, marking the beginning of his illustrious career in the performing arts.

In 1992, he played a crucial role in re-establishing the Estonian Actors' Union and served on its board from 1993 to 2000. His involvement in the arts extends to memberships in both the Estonian Actors' Union and the Estonian Directors and Dramaturgs' Union. Additionally, he held the presidency of the Estonian Center of UNIMA from 2002 to 2007, showcasing his dedication to puppetry and visual storytelling.

Dvinjaninov's personal life includes three marriages, from which he has three children: a daughter, Stina, and a son, Markus, from his first marriage to Ruti Einpalu, a notable director; a son, Mattheus, from his second marriage to actress Marika Barabanshchikova; and another daughter with his third wife, actress Ingrid Isotamme. Throughout his career, Dvinjaninov has made significant contributions to Estonia’s cultural landscape, earning recognition and respect in the performing arts community.
