R.C. Bates

Richard Carlos Bates, known as R.C. Bates, was born on January 8, 1946, in Houghton Lake, Michigan. He pursued higher education at Arizona State University, largely influenced by his girlfriend's enrollment there. With a deep passion for animals, Bates chose to major in environmental science while also nurturing his love for the performing arts through various drama courses.

Throughout his career, R.C. Bates has participated in a variety of small film projects, but he has primarily focused his talents on community theater in the Detroit and Phoenix areas. His dedication to the craft has allowed him to cultivate meaningful connections within the local arts scene.

Currently, Bates resides in Garden City, Michigan, where he shares his life with his wife, Kendra, and their two beloved dogs, Dori and Sam. His commitment to both environmental issues and the theatrical arts continues to shape his life and work, reflecting his multifaceted interests and enduring passion for creativity and nature.
