Nicole Joy-Fraser, a proud Tsa'tinée, Nehiyaw, Métis/Settler artist based in Niagara, has made significant strides in the performing arts for over two decades. Registered with the Horse Lake First Nation in Northern Alberta, she has established herself as a prominent Indigi-queer performer. Her diverse body of work spans both stage and screen, and she has collaborated with renowned organizations such as The Stratford Festival, The Shaw Festival, Mirvish Productions, Soulpepper, Theatre Aquarius, and major broadcasting networks including CBC, CBS, BBC, and Telefilm.

As a dedicated 2Spirit artist, Bear clan matriarch, and hand drum carrier, Nicole's journey is deeply rooted in her experiences as a 60's scoop survivor. She is passionate about fostering healing and strengthening community ties through Indigenous arts. Nicole is particularly thankful to the Aniishnaabeg and Haudenosaunee communities for their guidance in her urban Indigenous reclamation efforts.
