Rolando Boyce, a native of Chicago's Southside, emerged as a prominent figure in the performing arts. As the firstborn of a Panamanian family in the United States, he cultivated his passion for acting early on, participating in the Drama Club at Senn Metropolitan Academy High School. Initially pursuing a Pre-Pharmacy degree at Texas Southern University in Houston, his journey took a pivotal turn when he served as an Army Reservist during the Desert Storm War.

Upon returning to Chicago in 1996, Boyce reignited his passion for acting, making his debut at the renowned ETA Creative Arts Foundation and the Black Ensemble Theatre. His talent shone brightly in significant roles, notably as William in Kenneth Lonergan's "Lobby Hero" at Goodman Theatre and as Lincoln in Suzan-Lori Parks' "Topdog/Underdog" at Madison Repertory Theatre.

Boyce gained television recognition through his appearance on the pilot episode of Fox's "Prison Break," but he is best known for his role as Rufus in R. Kelly's "Trapped in the Closet," where he appeared in multiple chapters. It was during this production that he met LeShay Tomlinson, who played his on-screen wife, and the two tied the knot in 2008.

Now residing in Los Angeles, Rolando continues to thrive in the entertainment industry, actively participating in various commercials, television series, and films, while cherishing family life.
