Mallory Wanecque

Mallory Wanecque, born on July 26, 2006, in Valenciennes, Hauts-de-France, is an emerging talent in the French film industry. She gained significant recognition for her leading performance in her debut feature film, *The Worst Ones* (2022), a poignant drama directed by Lise Akoka and Romane Gueret. This role not only marked her entry into the cinematic world but also earned her the Rising Star Award for Best International Young Actor at the 2022 Rome Film Festival. Her compelling performance was further acknowledged when she received a nomination for the Most Promising Actress category at the 2023 César Awards.

Wanecque's journey to stardom began unexpectedly while she was leaving school, carrying her little sister. She encountered a group of women handing out casting flyers, which ultimately led to her audition for *The Worst Ones*. Following her successful audition, she made the bold decision to leave high school and fully commit to acting.

In addition to her notable debut, Wanecque showcased her versatility by portraying a teenage boxer in the 2023 comedy *Like a Prince*, directed by Ali Marhyar.
