Amerigo Fontani, born in Florence, is a distinguished actor known for his extensive work in both film and television. He graduated from the prestigious Vittorio Gassman stage actor's workshop in 1979, marking the beginning of his professional journey. His film career includes a notable role in the critically acclaimed 1997 movie "Life is Beautiful," where he portrayed Rodolfo, a rival in love to the character played by Roberto Benigni. Fontani also appeared in the 2004 film "The Third Star" and in "The Suite" released in 2010.
