Jamshid Mashayekhi is a renowned Iranian actor who has made significant contributions to the world of Iranian cinema. His acting career commenced in 1957 with stage performances that showcased his talent. He made his film debut in “Brick and Mirror” (1965), directed by Ebrahim Golestan. After taking a brief hiatus of four years from film, Mashayekhi returned to the silver screen with critically acclaimed roles in “The Cow” (1969) by Darius Mehrjui and “Kaiser (Qeysar)” (1969) directed by Masoud Kimiai.

Known for his striking white hair and captivating presence, Mashayekhi often portrays elderly characters, particularly the archetype of the wise grandfather.
