Kajsa Anna-Karin Linnéa Ernst, born on August 4, 1962, in Sweden, is a celebrated actress known for her extensive work in theatre and film. Her acting journey began at the young age of sixteen at Nöjesteatern in Malmö, and she honed her craft at Teaterhögskolan in Malmö. Following her graduation, Ernst dedicated a decade to Helsingborgs stadsteater, where she delivered powerful performances in various productions, including notable plays such as *Byggmästare Solness*, *Spindelkvinnans kyss*, and *Knäckebröd och hovmästarsås*. In 1982, she showcased her versatility by performing ballet in productions led by Nils Poppe at Fredriksdalsteatern and later took on a role in the 1990 play *Två man och en änka*, which she reprised in its 2013 film adaptation.

In 1998, Ernst relocated to Stockholm, marking the beginning of her film career with her debut in Kjell Sundvall's *In Bed with Santa* (1999). She gained recognition for her role in *Miffo* (2003) and won a prestigious Guldbagge Award for her performance in *Masjävlar* (2004).
