Diana Gibson
Diana Gibson, born Rosemary La Bie on March 21, 1915, in Chicago, Illinois, was a notable American film actress whose career flourished in the mid-1930s. Gibson embarked on her cinematic journey in 1935 with a part in the film *His Night Out*, which featured Edward Everett Horton and Irene Hervey. The year 1936 marked a prolific period for her, as she appeared in nine films, though four of these roles were uncredited.
Gibson's most recognized performance came in 1937 when she starred alongside the legendary John Wayne in *Adventure's End*. This film solidified her place in Hollywood, and she continued to work steadily that year, featuring in six movies with five credited roles.
Unfortunately, the following years saw a decline in her career, with only three film appearances between 1938 and 1939, two of which were uncredited. Her final credited performance was in *Western Welcome* (1938), starring Ray Whitley. After this film, she chose to retire from acting, eventually settling in Coral Gables, Florida.
