Paul Hamy
Paul Hamy, born on January 7, 1982, is a talented French actor and model. He began his professional journey in the fashion industry, initially gaining recognition as a model with Elite Model Management before transitioning to acting in 2013.
Hamy's foray into modeling started at just sixteen when he was discovered by renowned fashion photographer Paolo Roversi. His modeling career flourished as he collaborated with prestigious designers such as Hedi Slimane for Yves Saint Laurent, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Comme des Garçons, and Christian Lacroix, gracing the pages of Vogue and traveling extensively around the globe.
In addition to his modeling pursuits, Hamy has a strong background in the visual arts, having studied drawing and sculpture. He co-founded “POK - Pain O choKolat,” a collective that brings together various creative talents, including visual artists, photographers, and musicians. In 2010, he showcased his artistic flair with a sculpture series titled Chapeau, Chimère & Forme.
Hamy made his film debut in 2013 with two significant roles in "On My Way," directed by Emmanuelle Bercot, and "Suzanne," directed by Katell Quillévéré. His performance in "Suzanne" earned him nominations for the César Award for Most Promising Actor and the Lumière Award for Best Male Revelation.
Hamy is of mixed heritage, with an American father and a French mother. He married Denitza Stefanova in September 2020.
