Andy Bichlbaum
Jacques Servin, widely recognized by his alias Andy Bichlbaum, is a prominent figure in the activist group The Yes Men, known for their unique approach to culture jamming. This group is celebrated for their "identity correction" tactics, which are vividly portrayed in the documentary films *The Yes Men* and *The Yes Men Fix the World*. He is also a co-founder of RTMark, a platform dedicated to highlighting underreported social issues through creative activism.
Bichlbaum's unconventional career took a notable turn during his time at Maxis, where he was dismissed after secretly embedding code in the video game *SimCopter*. This code led to unexpected appearances of male characters in swimsuits engaging in affectionate behavior on certain dates. The ensuing media uproar caught him by surprise and became a catalyst for the establishment of RTMark.
In addition to his activism, Bichlbaum is an accomplished writer, having authored two collections of short stories published by FC2. He is also dedicated to education, serving as an Assistant Professor of Communication, Design, and Technology at Parsons School of Art, Media, and Technology in New York City. Through his multifaceted career, Bichlbaum continues to challenge societal norms and promote dialogue around crucial social issues.
