Sabina Akhmedova embarked on her artistic journey at the young age of 16, enrolling at Moscow's Institute of Modern Arts. During her four-year training, she had the privilege of learning from esteemed members of the Moscow Art Theatre, an institution established by the legendary actor Constantin Stanislavsky. Her theatrical debut came with Tennessee Williams's "Summer and Smoke," where she portrayed the character Rosa Gonzalez. This performance was just the beginning, as she went on to showcase her talent in works like Alexander Pushkin's "Small Tragedies" and Federico García Lorca's "The House of Bernarda Alba."
After completing her studies, Sabina quickly became a leading actress at Stas Namin's Music and Drama Theatre, engaging in both dramatic performances and vibrant musicals such as "Hair" and "Jesus Christ Superstar." In 2001, she made her film debut as Irina in "Christmas Gift," which paved the way for other projects, including "Bachelors" and the series "Ivlampia Romanova." Her breakthrough role came in MTV's comedy "The Club," where she portrayed Tamara for five successful seasons.
Sabina's career further flourished with her celebrated performance as Lana in "Diversant 2." In 2006, she expanded her craft by studying at the Lee Strasberg Institute in Los Angeles. Recently, she demonstrated her versatility as Goneril in Shakespeare's "King Lear" at the Strasberg's Marilyn Monroe Theatre, and her next project features her as Amy in the independent film "Taxi Man."
