Nimrat Kaur
Nimrat Kaur is a talented Indian actress renowned for her work in Hindi cinema and American television. She embarked on her journey in the entertainment industry as a print model in Mumbai before transitioning to theater, where she honed her craft. Kaur’s first notable appearance came in 2004 with a two-part music video featuring the songs "Tera Mera Pyar" by Kumar Sanu and "Yeh Kya Hua" by Shreya Ghoshal.
Her film career took off with a minor role in the English-language film One Night with the King (2006). However, it was her performance in Anurag Kashyap's Peddlers (2012) that marked her debut in Hindi cinema, a film showcased at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival that same year. Kaur's remarkable talent was further recognized with her role in The Lunchbox (2013), which also premiered at Cannes and starred the late Irrfan Khan.
