Bruno Masure
Bruno Masure, born on October 14, 1947, in Lille, Nord, is a prominent French journalist, news anchor, and television presenter known for his impactful contributions to French media. He holds degrees in history, economic science, and political science, complemented by studies at the Institut d'urbanisme de Paris.
Masure's professional journey began at the Faculté de droit de Lille, where he worked in a tutorial capacity before undertaking an internship at the political section of the esteemed newspaper Le Monde. His foray into broadcast journalism started with RMC from 1973 to 1975, after which he joined TF1 in 1975. Notably, he reported on François Mitterrand's 1981 presidential campaign, marking the beginning of his significant role in political journalism.
As a prominent figure on TF1, Masure anchored the Journal de 20 heures from July 1984 until July 1990. He continued his career by hosting the same program on Antenne 2, which transitioned to France 2 in 1992, from September 1990 to October 1997.
Between 1999 and 2003, he served as a columnist on Michel Drucker’s program Vivement dimanche prochain, further solidifying his presence on French television. Masure also contributed to France Inter from 2005 to 2011 as a journalist and columnist on the show Le Fou du roi, hosted by Stéphane Bern.
