David P. Saunders hails from Pennsville, New Jersey, where his passion for firefighting ignited at the tender age of two. After completing his education at Pennsville Memorial High School in 1992, he pursued his dream by training in New Castle, Delaware, ultimately securing a position as a Career Firefighter. In July 2000, Saunders joined the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department, where he has risen to the rank of Fire Lieutenant, demonstrating his commitment to public service.
In 2013, he and his son launched a Santa Claus business, which sparked his interest in acting. This new venture led to opportunities in local commercials, but it was his friendship with fellow firefighter Ondra Berry that truly propelled his acting career. Saunders made his film debut in Berry's movie, *Necropolis*, and went on to portray Santa in holiday films such as *All I Want for Christmas* and *A Wonderful Time of the Year*. While he has become well-known for his Santa character, he is versatile and ready to take on other roles.
As he looks toward retirement from the fire service, David is eager to devote his energy to acting full-time. He has even co-written several scripts, excited about the possibilities that lie ahead in his burgeoning entertainment career.
