In 1924, she starred in *Shadow of Egypt*, a notable production filmed on location in Egypt, showcasing her versatility and appeal in larger-budget films. Her popularity soared in 1915 when she was voted the most adored British actress by the readers of *Pictures and the Picturegoers*, even surpassing the iconic Charlie Chaplin in the polls.

After a vibrant career, Taylor's appearances became sporadic following 1932, yet she remained active in the industry, featuring in films such as *Lilacs in the Spring*, *Blue Murder at St Trinian's*, and *A Night to Remember* during the 1950s.
