Molly Bernard
Molly Kate Bernard (born April 10, 1988) is a talented American actress renowned for her captivating performance as Lauren Heller on the acclaimed television series *Younger*.
Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Bernard embarked on her acting journey at a young age, making her film debut in the 2000 comedy-drama *Pay It Forward*, which starred Kevin Spacey and Haley Joel Osment. After completing her education, she showcased her talent in the short film *Wrestling with the Past*, directed by Jason Leinwand. In 2013, she appeared in a guest role as Wendy in the fifth season of *Royal Pains*, sharing the screen with Mark Feuerstein and Paulo Costanzo. That same year, she began a recurring role in the political comedy series *Alpha House*, where she portrayed Angie Sullivan until 2014.
Her breakout role came in 2015 when she joined the cast of *Younger*, starring alongside Sutton Foster and Hilary Duff. Bernard's portrayal of Lauren Heller resonated with audiences, earning her a promotion to series regular by the second season. Molly holds a bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College and an MFA in acting from the Yale School of Drama. Notably, she is the granddaughter of actor Joseph Bernard, a co-founder of the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, and she honed her craft at the Las Vegas Academy in Nevada.
