Bryan 'Birdman' Williams
Bryan Christopher Williams, born on February 15, 1969, and widely recognized by his stage name Birdman or Baby, is a prominent American rapper and music executive. He is best known as the co-founder and public face of Cash Money Records, a label he established in 1992 with his brother Ronald "Slim" Williams. Birdman's debut album, released in 2002, marked the beginning of a successful solo career, which includes a total of four studio albums.
In addition to his solo endeavors, Birdman is part of the hip-hop duo Big Tymers, alongside the notable producer Mannie Fresh. His collaborations have significantly shaped the hip-hop landscape, particularly his partnership with Lil Wayne, whom he discovered at the tender age of twelve. Their collaborative album and multiple tracks together have left an indelible mark on the genre.
Birdman played a crucial role in the formation of YMCMB (Young Money Cash Money Billionaires), merging the influence of Cash Money Records with Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment. In 2014, he further expanded his influence in the industry by founding Rich Gang, a hip-hop supergroup that spotlighted emerging Southern talents such as Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan. Through his various ventures, Birdman has established himself as a key figure in shaping contemporary hip-hop.
