Oliver Graham Chris is a distinguished English actor, recognized for his diverse contributions to film, television, and theatre. His impressive career includes noteworthy performances in acclaimed productions across London’s West End and New York City’s Broadway stages.
Born on November 7, 1978, in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, Chris excelled academically, attending Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys before transferring to Michael Hall Steiner School. He later honed his craft at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and pursued further education at Birkbeck College, where he studied history, politics, and philosophy.
Chris is well-known for his roles in several popular comedy series, such as *The Office*, *Green Wing*, and *The IT Crowd*, as well as *Nathan Barley* and *Rescue Me*. A unique highlight of his career came in 2004 when he collaborated with actor Stephen Campbell Moore and various journalists to create a parody of The Beatles’ "Let It Be," celebrating footballer Wayne Rooney. This song gained significant traction during the 2006 FIFA World Cup, amassing over 200,000 views on YouTube.
