Paul Chowdhry
Tajpaul Singh Chowdhry, renowned as Paul Chowdhry, is a prominent English comedian of Indian heritage who embarked on his stand-up journey in 1998. He gained significant recognition as the host of Channel 4's comedy series Stand Up for the Week starting from its fifth season, after being a featured performer in the third and fourth seasons. In a notable achievement, Chowdhry became the first British comedian to grace the stage at the Caribbean Comedy Festival in Trinidad back in 2003.
His engaging presence has made him a familiar face on various panel shows, including 8 Out of 10 Cats, Comedy World Cup, and Sorry, I Didn't Know. Chowdhry has showcased his talent on Live at the Apollo on two occasions, in 2012 and 2015, solidifying his status in the comedy scene. In 2016, he participated as a contestant in the third series of the popular show Taskmaster, further showcasing his versatility.
