Amrita Acharia
Amrita Acharia, a talented Norwegian actress with a rich multicultural background, was born in Nepal to a Nepalese father and a Ukrainian mother. Her early life was spent across various countries, including Kathmandu, Ukraine, England, and Tromsø, which influenced her diverse upbringing. Fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, and English, she began learning Norwegian after relocating to Norway at the age of thirteen.
After completing her high school education in Norway, Acharia moved to England at nineteen to chase her dreams of becoming an actress. She gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Irri, a Dothraki handmaiden, in the acclaimed HBO series Game of Thrones, participating in the first two seasons. Despite her character's more extended arc in the original books, Irri was written out of the show in the second season.
