Kang So-ra
Kang So-ra is a prominent South Korean actress known for her versatile performances across film and television. She began her acting journey in 2009 with a role in the thriller 4th Period Mystery, but it was her breakout performance in the 2011 film Sunny that truly catapulted her to fame. This coming-of-age film, which chronicles the lives of a group of high school girls in the 1980s, resonated with audiences and established Kang as a rising star.
Following her success in film, Kang transitioned to television, taking on significant roles in popular dramas. She showcased her talent in the teen musical series Dream High 2 (2012) and the family-oriented Ugly Alert (2013). Additionally, she gained further visibility by participating in the reality program We Got Married, where she was paired with Leeteuk of Super Junior.
Kang's career reached new heights in 2014, with her performances in the medical drama Doctor Stranger and the critically acclaimed workplace series Misaeng: Incomplete Life. Doctor Stranger achieved remarkable viewership, particularly in China, while Misaeng was hailed as a cultural touchstone in South Korea.
Her subsequent projects include the romantic comedy Warm and Cozy (2015), the legal drama My Lawyer, Mr. Jo (2016), and the romantic comedy Revolutionary Love (2017), where she starred alongside Choi Si-won. In 2019, she made her return to cinema with Uhm Bok-dong, a film centered on cycling. The following year, Kang took on a comedic role in Secret Zoo, adapted from a webtoon, and appeared in the romance film Rain And Your Story, further solidifying her status in the entertainment industry.
