Valentino Rossi
Valentino Rossi was born in Urbino, Italy, but his family relocated to Tavullia during his childhood. He is the son of Graziano Rossi, a former professional motorcycle racer, and he began his journey in motorsport at an early age. Initially, Rossi was captivated by karting. His mother, Stefania, worried about the dangers associated with riding a motorcycle, which led Graziano to buy a kart as a safer alternative. Nevertheless, the Rossi family's relentless desire for speed inspired Graziano to modify the kart, upgrading it from a 60cc engine to a more powerful 100cc national kart motor for his young son, who was just 5 years old at the time. This early introduction to racing laid the groundwork for Rossi's remarkable career in motorsports, showcasing his talent and ambition from a tender age. His family's influence and the modifications made to his kart played a crucial role in shaping his future as one of the most celebrated motorcycle racers in history.
