Brooke Lynn Hytes
Brooke Lynn Hytes, born Brock Edward Hayhoe, has made a remarkable impact as a drag queen and performer. She is celebrated for her captivating artistry, which combines her background as a ballet dancer with her vibrant drag persona. In 2014, she earned the prestigious title of "Miss Continental," solidifying her place in the drag community. Brooke gained widespread recognition as a contestant on Season 11 of RuPaul's Drag Race, where she showcased her talents and finished as the runner-up. Currently, she serves as a permanent judge on Canada’s Drag Race, further amplifying her influence in the industry.
Before embracing the world of drag, Brooke trained at the esteemed Canada’s National Ballet School. Her early accolades include being named "Derby City Entertainer of the Year" in 2013, where she also secured the title of "Miss Michigan Continental" and placed first alternate for "Miss Continental" at the national level. By 2015, she not only held the title of "Miss Continental" but was also recognized as "Miss Canada Ultimate," alongside six additional titles.
Brooke's artistry caught the attention of PLAY Dance Bar in Nashville, Tennessee, where she performed until her commitment to filming for Drag Race took precedence. Her drag name, a clever twist on "Brooklyn Heights," was bestowed upon her by her drag mother, Farra N. Hyte, who was inspired by Brooke's height and her own surname, creating a powerful legacy in the world of drag.
