Matthew James Elam is a talented American actor hailing from Southern California, known for his work across stage, film, and television. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from DePaul University's Theatre School in Chicago in 2018. During his time there, he showcased his acting prowess in notable productions such as *Native Son*, *Wig Out!*, *Lord of the Flies*, and *Romeo and Juliet*.

Elam's screen career took off in 2018 with a role in the hit series *Chicago P.D.*, and he followed this with a leading part in the digital short *Good Genes* the next year.
