Erik Bloomquist
Erik Bloomquist is a distinguished filmmaker renowned for his two New England Emmy Awards for Outstanding Director and Writer, alongside eight additional nominations. He gained recognition as a Top 200 Director on HBO’s Project Greenlight. Bloomquist is the creative force behind the nationally syndicated series The Cobblestone Corridor, where he excelled as writer, director, showrunner, and lead actor, earning three Emmy Awards and nine nominations for his work.
With an impressive portfolio, Erik has directed nine feature films that span various genres, including erotic thrillers, surreal horror, and teen musical comedies. His recent projects under Mainframe Pictures include the politically charged slasher Founders Day, which gained accolades as an Official Selection at both the London FrightFest and Toronto After Dark festivals, featuring talents like Devin Druid and Amy Hargreaves. He also directed the summer camp horror-comedy She Came from the Woods, starring Cara Buono and William Sadler.
