Lucia Edwards
Lucia Edwards was born on June 22, 1987, in London, boasting a rich tapestry of English, Italian, and Slovak roots. Raised in a creative environment, her mother was a writer and professor of aesthetics, while her father made his mark as a fashion designer. Lucia's passion for acting ignited in youth theatre, and at the age of 18, she enrolled at the prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama. Throughout her theatrical journey, she brought to life iconic characters in adaptations of classic novels, portraying Anna in *Anna Karenina*, Sonya in *Crime and Punishment*, and Lulu in Wedekind's *Lulu*.
Her talent caught the attention of Anna Strasberg, who awarded her a scholarship, allowing Lucia to further hone her craft at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York. In addition to acting, Lucia has a strong inclination for writing and producing; she created *The Power of Love*, a theatre production directed by Ilmar Taska at the Courtyard Theatre in London.
Lucia made her foray into Bollywood with a role as Sharon in *Naughty @ 40*, sharing the screen with Govinda. Her versatility is evident in her appearances in series such as *Borgia*, *Terra X*, and *Zurich Crime*. Further showcasing her creativity, Lucia directed her debut short film, *The Red Painted Shoes*, which garnered recognition as a Best Drama Short Film nominee at Cannes.
