Sherman Augustus, born on January 10, 1959, is a multifaceted American actor, martial artist, and former professional football player. He gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Nathaniel Moon in the acclaimed AMC series *Into the Badlands* and for his role as Lt. Colonel Jack Sullivan in the fourth season of the hit Netflix show *Stranger Things*.

Before making his mark in the entertainment industry, Augustus had a notable career in professional football, playing as a linebacker for the San Diego Chargers and the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL. His athletic journey began at Northwestern College in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where he played college football alongside teammate Jimmy Bridges.
