Peyton Williams Manning, born on March 24, 1976, is a revered former professional football quarterback who graced the National Football League (NFL) for an impressive 18 seasons. Known affectionately as "the Sheriff," Manning spent the majority of his career with the Indianapolis Colts, where he played for 14 seasons, before transitioning to the Denver Broncos for four more. Widely regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks in the sport's history, Manning hails from the Manning football lineage, being the son of former NFL player Archie Manning and the older brother of Eli Manning, another NFL quarterback. He is also the uncle of Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning.

Manning's collegiate career with the Tennessee Volunteers was marked by numerous accolades, including the Maxwell, Davey O'Brien, and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm awards, culminating in a victory at the 1997 SEC Championship Game. After a neck injury sidelined him for the entire 2011 season, Manning joined the Broncos, leading them to division titles and another Super Bowl victory in Super Bowl 50, making history as the first quarterback to win championships with two different teams. His career is adorned with numerous records, including the most MVP awards and 4,000-yard passing seasons. Manning was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2017 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2021, cementing his legacy in football history.
