Nina West

Nina West, the vibrant persona of Andrew Levitt, is a celebrated drag queen, performer, and comedian renowned for her wit and charisma. She gained national recognition after being crowned the “Entertainer of the Year” in 2008 and later showcased her talents on Season 11 of RuPaul's Drag Race, where she secured a 6th place finish and garnered the title of Miss Congeniality. Nina’s artistic journey began in 1999 at Denison University, and over the past two decades, she has graced the stage in more than 35 major productions, alongside creating and producing her own unique shows.

Nina's determination is evident in her long-standing ambition to join RuPaul's Drag Race, having auditioned nine times before finally stepping into the spotlight. Beyond her performance art, she is deeply committed to philanthropy; she founded the Nina West Foundation, through which she has successfully raised over $2 million to support organizations that aid LGBTQ youth and their families. Her name pays homage to the legendary Nina Simone, while her surname reflects her affiliation with the "Haus of West," symbolizing her rich connection to the drag community.
