Tyler Oakley

Mathew Tyler Oakley, born on March 22, 1989, is a multifaceted American personality recognized for his contributions as a YouTuber, actor, activist, author, and Twitch streamer. Oakley has dedicated much of his advocacy work to supporting LGBT youth, championing LGBT rights, and addressing crucial social issues like healthcare, education, and suicide prevention among young people in the LGBT community. His engaging content often revolves around pop culture and humor.

Oakley launched his YouTube channel in 2007 while studying at Michigan State University, and it has since amassed over 683 million views and peaked at more than 8 million subscribers. He gained further visibility in 2014 when he appeared in the PBS Frontline documentary "Generation Like," which explored the evolving interaction of teenagers with pop culture.
