Harvey Goldsmith CBE, born on March 4, 1946, in Edgware, Middlesex, is a prominent English music promoter renowned for his significant contributions to the performing arts. His legacy primarily revolves around his role in organizing iconic rock concerts and charity events, including notable television broadcasts for the Prince's Trust and shows for the Teenage Cancer Trust at London's prestigious Royal Albert Hall.

Goldsmith gained international acclaim as the promoter of the historic Live Aid concert at Wembley Stadium in 1985, which raised millions for famine relief in Ethiopia.
