Krista Marchand hails from Toronto but spent her formative years in the Halifax area and Ottawa. She honed her craft at the Vancouver Film School, which laid the groundwork for her dynamic career in the Canadian entertainment industry.
As a versatile actress, Krista has made her mark on film, television, and stage, showcasing her talent through a variety of roles. Her passion for storytelling extends beyond performance; she is also dedicated to fostering creativity among fellow artists by developing innovative content and programs.
Since welcoming her first child in 2013, Krista has appeared in a myriad of productions, including the series *Nikita*, *Gangland Undercover*, and *Hemlock Grove*, all filmed in Toronto. She has also featured in *The Psycho She Met Online*, *Mommy's Little Angel*, and *The Queen of Spades*, shot in Ottawa, as well as *Canadian Detective*, *Mean Queen*, *Radio Silence*, and *Deadly Secrets*, filmed in Montreal.
Krista is committed to embracing her artistic journey fully. She is in the process of launching a platform aimed at empowering actors to lead enriching lives and successful careers, with the anticipated launch set for late summer 2019.
