Bo Schembechler
Glenn Edward "Bo" Schembechler Jr. (April 1, 1929 – November 17, 2006) was a prominent figure in American football, known for his roles as a player, coach, and athletics administrator. Schembechler began his coaching career at Miami University, where he led the football program from 1963 to 1968. However, it was his tenure at the University of Michigan from 1969 to 1989 that solidified his legacy in college football. Over his 21 seasons with the Wolverines, he achieved an impressive record of 194 wins, 48 losses, and 5 ties, contributing to a remarkable overall coaching record of 234 wins, 65 losses, and 8 ties.
