Cee Lo Green
Thomas DeCarlo Callaway, widely recognized by his stage name CeeLo Green, is a multifaceted American artist known for his contributions across various genres, particularly in soul and hip hop. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, CeeLo first gained recognition as a key member of the influential Southern hip hop collective, Goodie Mob. He launched a successful solo career with his debut album, *Cee-Lo Green and His Perfect Imperfections* (2002), followed by *Cee-Lo Green... Is the Soul Machine* (2004).
Green's career took a significant turn when he teamed up with producer Danger Mouse to form the duo Gnarls Barkley. Their 2006 breakthrough single "Crazy" became a global phenomenon, topping the charts in over twenty countries, including the U.S. and U.K. Their collaboration produced two acclaimed albums: the platinum-certified *St. Elsewhere* (2006) and *The Odd Couple* (2008). In 2010, CeeLo further solidified his solo status with *The Lady Killer*, featuring the chart-topping hit "Fuck You," which reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100.
Beyond music, CeeLo showcased his talents as a judge and coach on *The Voice* from 2011 to 2014, and lent his voice to the character Murray the Mummy in the animated film *Hotel Transylvania* (2012). He has also starred in his own TBS series, *CeeLo Green's The Good Life*, and appeared in various commercials.
