Palmolive

Paloma McLardy, born on December 26, 1954, and widely recognized by her stage name Palmolive, is a Spanish drummer and songwriter whose contributions to early punk music have left a lasting impact. She made her mark in the punk scene by founding the influential band The Slits in late 1976, a group that became pivotal in shaping the genre's sound and attitude. After departing from The Slits in 1978, Palmolive joined another groundbreaking ensemble, The Raincoats, where she contributed her drumming talent to their self-titled debut album, "The Raincoats."
