Bernard King, born on December 4, 1956, in Brooklyn, New York, is a former professional basketball player celebrated for his exceptional skills as a small forward in the NBA. Over the course of his illustrious 14-season career, King showcased his talent with several teams, including the New Jersey Nets, where he began his journey from 1977 to 1979, and returned briefly in 1992-93. He also played for the Utah Jazz during the 1979-80 season, the Golden State Warriors (1981-1982), the New York Knicks from 1982 to 1987, and the Washington Bullets from 1987 to 1991.

King's career was marked by numerous highlights, including being selected to four NBA All-Star games and earning an All-NBA First Team selection in 1984. He is perhaps best known for his incredible scoring ability, famously averaging 32.9 points per game during the 1984-85 season, which ranked him among the league's elite scorers.
