Jeet, born Jeetendra Madnani on November 30, 1975, is a prominent Indian actor, producer, and television host, primarily recognized for his contributions to Bengali cinema. He began his career in the modeling industry before transitioning to television, featuring in serials such as *Bishabriksha*, *Janani*, and *Daughters of the Century*. Jeet made his film debut in the Telugu film *Chandu*, but it was his 2002 appearance in the Bengali romantic drama *Sathi*, directed by Haranath Chakraborty, that marked his breakthrough. Co-starring with Priyanka Trivedi, the film earned him accolades including the Bengal Film Journalists' Association's Most Promising Actor Award and an Anandalok Award for Best Actor.

Following this initial success, Jeet starred in several notable films like *Nater Guru*, *Sangee*, *Bandhan*, and *Yuddho*. His role in *Nater Guru* alongside Koel Mallick further solidified his status, garnering him another Anandalok Award for Best Actor. Despite facing a stint of commercial setbacks with films such as *Saathihara* and *Priyotoma*, he rebounded with the hit film *Jor*. The year 2010 was particularly fruitful for Jeet, with blockbuster releases like *Wanted* and *Dui Prithibi*, the latter recognized as the highest-grossing film of that year by FICCI & Deloitte. In 2013, Jeet expanded his reach with the crime thriller *Boss: Born to Rule*, which became one of the year's top earners and earned him his first Filmfare Awards East nomination.
