Vincenzo Ferrera, hailing from Palermo, discovered his passion for acting during his teenage years. Following his graduation from high school, he immersed himself in the world of theater, joining organizations such as Teatro Biondo and Gruppo della Rocca. His breakthrough came in 2008 when he starred as Stefano Martorana in the Rai 3 soap opera *Agrodolce*.

Ferrera's film career began earlier, with a notable role as Vincenzo Li Muli in Rocco Casareo's 2003 film *Borsellino's Angels*.
